Warranty Policy

At SUNWHEELUSA, we take pride in our assistance, accessibility, quick response times, product knowledge, and parts inventory. If you have a problem, we want to get you back up and running as soon as possible. SUNWHEEL USA provides items of many sorts, models, and manufacturers. Most products come with a one-year limited guarantee (see "Standard Warranty"). The Goods at "Final Price" (see Final Price Guarantee) have a 30-day limited warranty. For some product groups and manufacturers, an exclusive warranty with lengths ranging from 30 days to a year is provided. The ultimate warranty terms vary depending on the Product and are given in the Product description as well as the SUNWHEELUSA Delivery Policy. Details on the warranty terms are always available from our company's specialists. The coverage that is currently available is described below.

 

Standard Warranty for Goods

Extended warranty

We also provide the option of purchasing an extended third-party warranty from Extend (https://www.extend.com/) for one, two, or three years beginning with the end of the manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty coverage

For most SUNWHEELUSA Goods offers a limited warranty of one year, which starts from the date of delivery. This warranty requires that the goods be used for their intended purpose and includes covering OEM parts with some limitations. The items covered by the manufacturer’s warranty include the most important components of the product, namely: battery, engine controllers, engines and throttle/display. During your active warranty period, SUNWHEEL USA will approve claims only once during the coverage period. For example, SUNWHEEL USA will cover the engine under warranty once, but additional malfunctions of this component will not be covered by the warranty.

The SUNWHEELUSA limited guarantee of one year does not apply to:

  • Frame or frame elements
  • Lighting systems
  • Switches / shifters
  • Wearing parts (breaks, pads, tires, wheels, screws and so on)
  • Products used for leasing or commercial purposes
  • Defects caused by wear or damage from water or accident
  • Physical damage such as scratches, dents, cracks.

Our goods are designed to be long-lasting. SUNWHEELUSA products require very basic maintenance to ensure maximum endurance. Proper maintenance, operation, and storage are required when owning an electric travel gadget. Modifications or self-repair can cause component failures. Self-repair, device opening, diagnostics, and repairs performed without prior agreement with SUNWHEELUSA result in the cancellation of the Goods' warranty.

The warranty does not cover the effects of elements (water damage), poor battery handling/storage, or product misuse.

SUNWHEEL USA Warranty is a guarantee for the components. We provide three assistance forms so you can begin working immediately:

  1. Self-repair by agreement of the parties - Working with SUNWHEELUSA products is enjoyable and convenient; most components are plug-and-play, and we include a detailed home repair guide. We provide customized videos, wiring diagrams, printed instructions, phone support, and the manual needed for installation.
  1. Service Locations - SUNWHEEL USA offers a rapidly expanding network of retail and service shops. If you don't want to fix your scooter yourself, we'll assist you find a local service point in our network. If we refer you to a local retail or service location, the repair-related labor expenses will be applied.
  2. Delivery for maintenance - If you prefer not to perform the maintenance, we may always return the scooter and assist with repairs. If the scooter is sent for warranty repair, the customer is responsible for paying for delivery to our repair facility. SUNWHEELUSA will cover the price of the work and return shipping related to warranty repairs. 

Final sales assurance

SUNWHEELUSA attempts to provide the best rates. Products marked as final sale have the lowest pricing. These are new, high-quality goods. Any goods marked "final price" are subject to a 30-day guarantee from the date of delivery. This reduced warranty will give coverage in accordance with the guarantee's general terms and conditions, but only for 30 days. Extend (https://www.extend.com/) offers extended warranties of one, two, or three years on goods sold after the final sale.

Filling a claim

If you have any issues with your SUNWHEELUSA product, we are here to help! Send us an email, phone us, describe/detail the problem you're having, and attach photos or video so we can investigate. We take pride in our response speed and are extremely knowledgeable about our products.

Shipping coverage

We regret to see problems with new products. If you experience a warranty-covered problem within the first two weeks of delivery, SUNWHEELUSA will reimburse the cost of the part and transportation under warranty. If you prefer that we handle this issue, we will cover all incoming and exiting deliveries, work, and parts under warranty. SUNWHEELUSA will reimburse the cost of shipping under warranty only for the first two weeks and requires the original packing.

If the fault is discovered after the first two weeks of ownership, the cost of delivering the covered item will be charged to the client. If the customer wishes that SUNWHEELUSA resolve this issue, the customer will be charged for incoming delivery to our service centre. SUNWHEELUSA will cover labour and return shipping charges for warranty repairs.
